What is NK Cell?

NK cells react faster as compared to other immune cells.
They also activate and amplify the responses of other immune cells through cytokine secretion.

Activity of NK cells is regulated by the activating receptors and inhibitory receptors.
Increased number of NK cell activating receptors stimulates the NK killing effect on abnormal cells.
